Took my car to Bimmers Only- Plano Tx, recently, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Very friendly, transparent with diagnosis, feedback etc. I was impressed with high quality of work, reasonable prices and excellent follow ups by the service admin. Bimmers Only- Plano is absolutely a great place for any BMW service job. I highly recommend them for their reliability and affordability. Fantastic experience dealing with Freddy Torres and staff.

UPDATE: Bimmers Only made it right by refunding my entire cost. That was more than expected. I appreciate their good customer service. I had a mixed experience at Bimmers Only. I took my car there to have the MMI Prime CarPlay Module installed in my BMW 650i. I purchased the equipment from BimmerTech.com and Bimmers Only is an "authorized installer". I took my car to them on a Tuesday Morning at 9 AM. Before I dropped the car off, 10 minutes prior, I took video of the interior of my car doors, dash, console, seats, etc. since they were going to have to remove some of the trim in order to install the CarPlay module. The reason I did this is because I had an incident at BMW of Dallas where their technician cracked a plastic piece on my driver's side door a year ago and I hadn't taken before photos, so this time, I made sure to do that. BimmersOnly called and told me that they should have charged me more for the installation because the didn't realize that my car was different from other BMW models when installing the module and that it would be another day before it was ready. They said they would honor the price that they quoted me for installation anyway, which I found to be good customer service since it wasn't my fault they underbid and didn't pay attention to the requirements (even though I sent them the specific instructions for my specific car from the CarPlay manufacturer when they quoted me). Unfortunately, after installing it they were unable to make it work and couldn't figure out the reasons why. So they ended up keeping my car for a total of a week before they finally figured out that they had set the dip switches wrong. When I went to pick up my car, they showed me how it worked and how to use it/etc. and were friendly and helpful. This part of my experience with Bimmers Only was great and I would have given them a high rating if what happened subsequent to this hadn't happened. I live about a 10 minute drive from their shop and as I was driving I noticed there were scratches all around the driver's door handle and a scratch/dent in my iDrive "Menu" button that wasn't there before. I immediately took video and photos of the damage and then looked back at the video I took a week earlier when I dropped it off and the scratches on the door were NOT there previously and the Menu button dent/scratch was not there either. So I contacted Freddy at Bimmers Only and told him that they must have damaged my car and how did they want to remedy this. He stated that "We're not about that, we take care of cars in our care" and denied that the damage was their fault. The exact same thing BMW of Dallas did to me a year before - but this time I had proof. I sent to him an email and told him I had proof of the damage and that they should remedy this somehow or I'd file a small claims court case against them and tell the truth about my experience on social media. He never responded again. IF they had simply fixed the scratches I would have been ok with that but they stopped responding to my requests. So, although they seem to know what they're doing in terms of BMWs and technology and had good customer service to begin with, I wouldn't trust my car with Bimmer's Only because they will damage it and say it wasn't their fault even when there's irrefutable proof that it was. Go somewhere else.
