The only reason for star is only to comment. Omg what an experience never go to Advance Auto parts on Illinois Ave. the Manager is not a Manager went for my Dead not quite dead battery they tested it said need replacement but as soon as I said it is under warranty they said they needed to charge it till the light turn green well 2 hrs 30 mins later no green light said I needed to wait longer. Oh to the hell no they heard me I was calm courteous and I let them know that nope I will not wait that I bought the battery with warranty and expected my new battery. He called his boss that was off today said it was policy they needed to test it and wait and that they would have no problem exchanging it. Well I stood my ground said will not wait give me my battery. He wanted me to come tomorrow and speak to his boss and leave it there till tomorrow. Nope if it didn’t charge it means it no good. Well I went to the one in Duncanville problem solved there is no policy that says they have to charge it if there is enough charge just check it. Exchange problem solved. We both win Warranty is warranty. Because she kept tell me to read the policy at the door and these are there instructions for them. Thank you Advance on Camp Wisdom!

Please explain how can you shop at Advance Auto Parts and to be told by the store clerk that you're not allowed to use the restroom. Had to leave the store to releave myself. When I cane back, being the only customer in the store, the same store clerk seen me as I walk in and went to the counter, waited 5 to 7minutes before another employee come from the back, to tell him that I was waiting at the counter to be help. I asked why are people not allowed to use the restroom? He replied this is not a resteraunt or Jack In Box, they don't serv food, store policy and I need to talk to corporate. No signs were posted in the store about restroom policy and services was terrible.

Terrible service from this store. I don't recommend buying here. Go to O'Realty or Auto Zone instead. I bought here because they told me it was cheaper, but it ended up being worse. I went to get some discs for my truck, but they gave me the wrong ones. When I went with the receipt to exchange them, they made me wait over an hour. And a bald old man ignored me and didn't listen. I think he's the manager. I almost had to fight to get them to pay attention to me. Don't go to Advance, much less this store, please.

Had to change my review. I wouldn't be honest if I didn't. This location has great customer service and by far went above and beyond to assist myself in my most recent auto repair. Also not to mention, saved me about $75. I want to say the gentleman that helped was Carlos but just not quite sure on the name. However if you know who Pelso Puma is, kinda same hairstyle.

I didn’t get your name, sir, but you know who you are. Thank you for helping me open my car door after I locked my keys in the car trying to get dog food from Aldi. I’m very grateful that there are still kind people in the world. If you need anything from the store, do not hesitate to ask them they are wonderful, and super fast too! God bless all of you!!!
