Matt and team were great from start to finish. Had to get my DME sent off to Finland before my tune on my G80. That entire process took only 6 business days. They came to my house in the area to reinstall the DME for me and even got it a base OTS tune that I could enjoy until my appointment for my custom tune. Once in the shop for the tune, it took 2.5 days for them to install a ton of mods and do all the custom tuning on the dyno. Matt was particular about extracting all the power that he could while keeping the engine safe and reliable. The entire team answered all questions I had and kept me up to do throughout the process. Im sure the final result varies car to car but I’m very happy with my results. Smooth powerband and it sounds fantastic. Highly recommend and looking forward to working more with them in the future.

10/10 would recommend! The owner Matt went above and beyond to help me after I scored the cylinder wall in my supra. He helped me step by step to source the most reputable applications to build the engine. Once everything was in place, he provided a custom tune and even broke in the engine for me. I saved so much money coming here. I will only take my car here and I live 4.45hrs away. I just dont trust anyone else! The knowledge and experience put into my vehicle has made it feel like a completely different car! Nothing but quality customer service!

My story started out with trying to find a way to get my 2022 G26 B58TU opened up and reaching its true potential. Found Cedar Performance online after searching and seeing that Orlando Autowerks was charging an arm and a leg for unlocks not even cloning. I reached out and Matt contacted me a day later to discuss with the options and what’ll take to get my Bimmer solid. Their prices are better than any competitor and included unlock plus cloning for two DMEs along with leaving the stock DME untouched. Now FEMTO caused some delays but once back in Orlando it was 5 mins to get my car coded with the final steps of the unlock and then we were live. From there Matt explained to me why this time I should go with Bootmod3 for tuning vs my faved MHD where I fell loyal to. I have to say that with this change over to BM3 I’m happy and seeing the OTS run good but it doesn’t stop there. I reached out through BM3 for a Custom ROM (Map) from Cedar Performance and Matt took over from there, making my G26 hit new heights above the OTS. With this said Matt even off business hours worked with me in answering any questions and explaining next steps to locking me in for a final tune. You can’t get this kind of support and loyalty anywhere and this is why my post is as long as it is and honoring of this company and team. Thank you CP and thank you Matt!!!!

Brought my F80 M3 in for a problem that the stealer-ship said would cost me over $2,000! Took it over to Cedar to have it fixed for a better price. I went ahead and got the crank hub done while Matt & his team performed the repair, and I decided to add on a bunch of upgraded parts while they were at it! Never once did Matt try to up sale me anything. I did my research on every parts and ran it by Matt to see if he recommended it because of his experience. Matt is super knowledgeable! He answered all my questions in FULL details!!! I am extremely happy with my car and is proud to let people know that my car was put together by the team at Cedar Performance.

I went to Cedar Performance for over two years. In the beginning, Matt was friendly and helpful. He influenced me to buy a number of performance parts for my car. "Now you just need this..." and "Now you just need that and it'll work better" and eventually over time, my car got to the point where few people in town could work on it and I became dependent on him as a mechanic and tuner. Over time, it started taking him longer and longer to finish work on my car when I would bring it to him, especially if I paid him up front, to the point where it was in his shop for weeks, sometimes months at a time. I noticed other people were complaining about that as well. He even mentioned to me once that there was talk of him being sued for this. It was certainly the case for me that my car was there for very long periods at a time. My motor failed, and had to be replaced. My original thought was to buy one from a company, but Matt said he could do it and quicker. It took around 8 months for him to build the motor and get it in my car. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of paying him "up-front" for almost everything. Matt became more and more rude and unprofessional to me over time, often making comments such as he was "sick of my car". I'm attaching some text messages he sent me. To me, this behavior was unacceptable. When I picked it up, however, it had issues and was not running right. I asked him if, this time, he could let me know when I could drop it off on a day he would actually be able to work on it, as opposed it sitting around the shop while he worked on "higher paying jobs" as he put it to me at one point. After dropping it off, it was there almost two months. When I picked it up, it still had many of the the same issues. At this point, I had enough. I searched around for a place I could take my car, and finally found a great place. After taking my business elsewhere, it was revealed that Matt's work was sub-par. For example, the air filter was literally half way off the intake pipe (see attached air filter photo). There were cables laid on top of the engine. The catch can wasn't even hooked up, and a few other things too. We also found out that the spark plugs were bad, something I asked him to check when he was trying to figure out why my car was missing, at which point he became insulted that I even asked such a basic question. Those spark plugs are why the motor was missing. Photos do not lie, as to two other mechanics who witnessed and can back up what is in the phots below; one of them was an air filter not even hooked up all the way, cables laying across the motor, large plastic pieces not even connected and simply unattached on top of the engine etc. He claimed my car made good power on his dyno and didn’t miss however that is simply not true at all, as proven by the spark plugs pulled by the other shop right after taking it to them. Matt once made the comment “Unfortunately the n54 engine has a host of natural issues” and my car was “plagued” with them. This simply is not the case – the reality is, he didn’t even check basic mechanic issue such as spark plugs, and whether he installed port injection correctly and literally spent weeks trying to figure out why my car was missing and going into limp mode. However, another shop was able to quickly resolve these issues within a few hours. The ONLY reason I stopped taking my car to Matt and Cedar Performance, is due to the very long wait times (two mechanics told me someone came to them after having their cat at Matts for AN ENTIRE YEAR); any claims by Matt of personal problems on my end are simply lies and completely untrue. I do not recommend Cedar Performance, based not only on what, in my experience, was poor quality work, but also very long times that mine and other customers cars were in his shop as he worked on other cars and I waited and waited patiently. I won't be returning to that shop, and won't recommend anyone else go there either.
