So this was my first time using pep boys after my dad had nothing but good things to say about them. So wanted to try them out, and came to this location, and lets just say with the experience I got here I probably will NEVER try them again. I made an appointment at 9 for a coolant flush and spark plugs and showed up early. After confirming it could be done on the phone the service technician tells me they cant do my cars spark plugs once I get there ( mind you they said someone else with the same car could be done who should up later for that service) and was told it would probably be an hour. I didn't leave until 12:30, and it wasn't because my car was finished. I eventually left without my car even being serviced and no communication after waiting that long. I started having people show up hours after me getting ahead of me because they needed a certain person just to do a coolant flush so they were waiting on him and he was late. Instead of telling me this I wasted over 4 hours just to not even get anything done on my car. I recommend not going here unless you HAVE too and even then I dont think it's worth your time and money. You can go places way better and faster maybe it's just this location, and if it is. Stay clear!!

Henry helped me a lot and advised me on what would be the best option for services and prices on my vehicle. I felt very comfortable leaving my vehicle in his hands. I will definitely come back to this pep boys as long as he is an employee here.

Nothing but a great experience, I made an appointment, and at arrival, they effectively and openly communicated that the manager had a delay, but he was on his way, life happens so I waited. Not longer than 10 minutes later, Rick B arrived and provided with the best customer service ever. He took care of my needs and answered all of my questions. I recommend this location for anyone looking for great service and affordable prices. I will be back for my next oil change. Thank you!!!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Pep Boys. My Jeep Compass was towed to the Lemon Avenue location on Monday, 3/3/25. It remained there until Tuesday, 3/4, when I was told by Rick that it needed to be towed to the East Highway location because a “master technician” was required to diagnose the issue. I spoke with Brandon at the East Highway location on Wednesday, 3/5, and was informed that my car simply needed a new main and auxiliary battery. I was absolutely livid to find out that Pep Boys kept my car for three days just to tell me I needed new batteries—something that could have been checked immediately! Instead, I was charged over $500 for diagnostics and new batteries, only to be told I needed a service that should have cost just $200. Pep Boys completely took advantage of me. The first thing they should have done was a simple, free battery test. Instead, they made me go through an unnecessary and expensive process. Each location should have a master technician on staff to prevent this kind of runaround. This experience has made it clear that Pep Boys does not prioritize honesty or efficiency, and I will never trust them with my vehicle again, you shouldn’t either.

Had a great experience here at Pep Boys on Lemmon. Rich in the service department, in particular assisted with our transaction on new tires. He was responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. Vehicle was completed in a timely manner with an overall great experience. Highly recommend!
