I’ve taken my car here a couple of times now and both experiences have been wonderful. Within an hour of me dropping it off, Chris knew exactly what was wrong with my car and gave me a fair quote to repair it. He had it done within 48 hours and gave me updates throughout the whole process. 10 out of 10 recommend working with Gear Head!

I have taken my truck to Gear Head Projekt now twice for service and both times, they were friendly, knowledgeable and very straight forward. When it comes to industries with bad reputations, mechanics rank right up at the top of the list for dishonesty, but Gear Head is a business that is run honest and fair. Finding a shop that will do quality work, at a good price, is like finding a unicorn. Never let it go! I highly recommend you save yourself headaches and just take your car to Gear Head first.

A colleague of mine referred me to Gear Head Projekt back in 2014 when the shop was still located in Carrollton. I had issues with a 2 week old car that I purchased from a friend. John (shop owner) told me that the car was not worth fixing and should not have been sold to me in the first place. He was right. It was a piece of junk and I ended up selling the car for less than $500. One thing that I remember about my first meeting with the owner of this shop was his genuine sympathy and professionalism given my dilemma at the time. I went back again in 2015 when my other car’s AC stopped working. As usual, John was courteous and worked with my budget. He dropped me off at the train station so that I could go to work and picked me up from the train station to pick up my car. Fast forward to a few days ago when my car started shaking vigorously. I didn’t think twice about where to take my car. I reached out to John (shop owner) and he responded promptly. I dropped the car off today and they resolved all the issues for me. Not only did they drop me off at a coffee shop to wait for the car to be fixed, they worked with my budget and treated me like family. If you are looking for people who operate with integrity and offer excellent customer service, Gear Head Projekt is the place to go. I was happy to see the new location and the new team members.
